Visit the "old" guildwars webpage via the internet archive wayback machine for even more wallpaper that's no longer available. http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.guildwars.com
I still love the bone dragon / Shiverpeaks / xmas wall paper and the early profession wall papers... example female shiverpeaks warrior turned in to Devona latter

If you can believe it, I have gotten so bored of Guild Wars I, your scribe, has moved on to a wonderous game called "World of Warcraft". BBL.
Random Acts of Kindness:
None, I stopped playing Guild Wars.

Highly unlikely since HA is empty. Maybe the Zaishen got bored because of the lack of people playing the 6v6 crapfest and took the Scribe out for drinks.

I was hoping to hear from Gaile Gray on the status of the scribe. It is really that big of a mystery? By the way Gaile was that really you in AB Saturday night?

The Scrub... I mean, the Scribe is sorely missed. I know I could use a weekly chuckle. Where else am I going to read praise about bad builds?

You know, that's nice to see. There has been a small amount of negativity about the news scrolls, it's true. It's only a small number of people, but I'm still not sure why they're so set on a course of put-down and denigration. :-/ I think that people forget we're not going to announce major news, for the most part, through this little feature. But this little feature is great fun, and I believe in my heart that it truly enhances the Guild Wars experience.

I think that may be the favourite part of writing those scrolls, actually. Who wouldn't like the chance to call out good people and kind souls? I enjoy reading that part, and I know I look for those community members when I visit the game.
Thanks to both of you for the kind words, and the support. I know it will mean a lot to The Scribe. (And no, I am not The Scribe. Some have asked, but he/she/it is not me. )

I think I gave the status. There's a fresh news scroll tomorrow, Thursday. And no, I was not in AB on Saturday. Tell me: what character name did you see there, that you might have thought it was me?

The scribe will be back tomorrow only after his intensive recovery from serious medical problems after waiting too long to find out more info on ch4.
